Welcome Sian!! Unistellar is immensely proud to announce a new collaboration with one of the world’s most inspiring space outreach and exploration people: Dr Sian Proctor!! Sian is a geoscientist, explorer, space artist, and, yes, an astronaut. She was the mission pilot for September 2021’s Inspiration4 all-civilian orbital mission to space.
Her motto is called Space2inspire where she encourages people to use their unique, one-of-a-kind strengths, and passion to inspire those within their reach and beyond. Sian believes that we need to actively strive for a J.E.D.I. space: a just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive space as we advance human spaceflight.
As the New Astronomy pioneer, Unistellar believes too it is crucial for each of us to learn about the cosmos, share its sense of wonder and mystery, and become a space discoverer. We are therefore rejoicing about Sian becoming a Unistellar ambassador.

Dr. Sian Proctor and Dr. Franck Marchis, Unistellar’s Chief Scientific Officer, at CES Las Vegas 2022
Check Sian’s social media profiles in the coming weeks, where she will share her journey of space discovery with her eVscope 2. And stay tuned for upcoming space inspiring outreach and citizen science achievements with Sian. Space2inspire!!
