ENVISION knows countless points of interest and displays useful information about them, including names, altitudes, distances, and magnitudes. For instance, point it at the Moon and ENVISION will show you where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the Apollo lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969. ENVISION combines a high-quality pair of binoculars with an advanced AR system. We use premium lenses and prisms to deliver sharp, clear views.
Companion app
The app provides an interface for selecting points of interest, accessing the database, and receiving guided tours. The app also facilitates firmware updates to ensure the binoculars remain up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.
Precision Orientation System.
GPS and inertial measurement units (IMU): The binoculars access your phone’s GPS position and are equipped with IMUs. Combined with our customized software, this configuration guarantees precise positioning and low-drift orientation by merging data from gyroscopes, gravity and the earth’s magnetic field. Real-Time Data Processing with Bluetooth connectivity to your phone feeds topographic and cartographic data into the system.
Database connectivity
Extensive Map Database: ENVISION is connected to a database of billions of topographic nodes and millions of cartographic items, including mountains, hills, trails, landmarks, water sources, stars, galaxies, and other celestial objects.
Online and Offline : Users can access this database both online and offline, ensuring information is available even in remote locations provided you download the maps of the region you will go to in advance.

How far along is ENVISION today?
When the Kickstarter presale campaign ended in July 2024, ENVISION was still just a proof of concept.
As of May, ENVISION mass manufacturing has started. The first hundred units manufactured are being heavily beta tested to improve the software and user interface.

It is a real classical optical image. The only digital part is the red AR that is overlayed in your sight.

Absolutely! They are perfect for glass wearers thanks to their retractable eyecups.
Are the binoculars image stabilized?
They are not image stabilized.
Do the binoculars have a camera?
No, they do not feature a camera.
